Living in North Idaho, we know mountains. Having summited all of the tallest peaks North Idaho, I can safely say that you always need a sturdy blade with you at all times. If you like large knives, then the Summit is for you. A 4-3/8” long blade is gonna be one of the largest folders in your collection. But we didn’t want you to have to carry around a 1lb chunk of metal, so we internally lightened the frame and went with 3/16” thick material. So you can rest easy that this knife will be comfortable to carry and awesome to use. And the thumb studs are adjustable!
