The New Combat Troodon Gen 3 features updated handle scales held in place with standard torx drive screws. In addition there is an engraved claw logo, the glass breaker has been updated,  the lanyard hole is now part of the chassis, and the pocket clip has been changed. Most importantly, the new drive system is faster, smoother and easier to operate. And finally, the handle has been ported at the rear to allow for cleaner operation. All this, and a lower price point.
